A proper sequel to 2077 has now been confirmed by CD Projekt Red however they don't give any indicator as to when or on what platform the title will come to.

Codenamed Orion, the studio has not mentioned the multiplayer entry they once planned

PC will be the platform of choice, naturally.

Im guessing the new one will be Unreal5, so with any Luck it'll actually work on the new consoles.

In it’s defence i just completed 2077 again and it only crashed 489 times on ps5, thats a significant reduction.

Urgh, I hope not (Unreal). Whatever the engine, just get the PC version out first to widespread critical acclaim and then work on the ports immediately afterward. Get the console virgins frothing and edged up. People are willing to wait to play, as already evidenced.

Consoles are the standard, not the top 1% of pc players using the latest bleeding edge everything.

If CDproject aren’t getting it stable on a PS5/SeriesX then it shouldn’t launch.

No need to make it look amazing, Skyrim never looked great and sold gangbusters. 2078 mostly just needs to deliver on 2077's promises and potential

Let's try not to use Skyrim as a barometer for launch stability and follow-up developer support (which for that game ended after the six-month launch window).

Besides; to date Skyrim has sold 30M copies, CP2077 has already sold 20M and quickly generating pace.

At launch it was an absolute mess. Like in the nomad start, when I drove out of the garage I plunged straight into 'blue hell'.
After all the updates though its a great game on the ps5. I wouldn't touch it on PS4.

If they can recreate the good stuff I'm all for it.
