Game of the Year 2022: Round Two

Time to introduce a second run of games from the 2022 line up, but will any have proven themselves strong enough to be a contender for the title?

Voting will remain open until the end of December so there's plenty time to make votes or edit your choices if you manage to clear any of the listed games. Otherwise, feel free to share your thoughts on some of the games listed in each rounds poll.

Which of the above games is amongst the best of the 2022 line up?

There aren't many games I'd buy 3 times at full price but The Last of Us is so good and and so worth it. I absolutely loved taking another trip through it. In a strange way, over familiarity spoiled some of the sequels I was looking forward to this year ... Bayonetta 3 and Ragnarok especially ... yet I can go back to TLOU over and over and its great every time.

Still playing through Sparks of Hope too and it's a belter.

Immortality is in my own little top 4 list and is definitely my pick from this batch. So, so good.

Marvel Snap is supposed to be fun, but I'm committed to Marvel Puzzle Quest by this point and don't want to commit to another game.

Gigabash looks like my kinda game!

I anticipate Nikke will sweep the category

(maybe don't google it if you're at work)

I voted for this as well. Such an original idea and really surprised me.

I haven't been able to get around to playing Kirby yet though Jr1 has been enjoying it. Otherwise though nothing on this one I'd vote for

Nothing here I'd vote for at the moment but I've not played Kirby TFL or Immortality yet.

I've enjoyed KoF, but it's not GOTY material.

I mean, I voted Horizon, because its the only game on that list I've played and that I'd consider putting in a game of the year line up. But I don't think it's game of the year.
