          June 2023

          £119

This month meant a big jump up in my spending for the year but most critically I'm at the least still below the £200 total mark which means that I'm ultimately still massively on track for my cheapest year of spending on games thankfully. Looking at the month ahead the schedule looks to be utterly barren which bodes well.

            £0

Doing well, looking at August I might pay £15 to get 1 month sub of EA Play Pro to go through Dead Space, Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Immortals of Aveum but that looks to be the only spend if that

I was trying to hold off on buying BG3 until I beat Zelda but I couldn't resist. I've waited too long for this.

Done pretty well this year, utilised the sales and ps plus games well and hit the back log. Thus far I've spent $350 aussie which is roughly 180 of HerHis Majesty's pounds sterling.

Still have 2 massive games to play from that as well Cyberpunk and AC Odyssey.

But I'm going to cave and buy FFVII Crisis Core Remake in the next couple of days then Armoured Core and Starfield within the next month

Spidey will wait for next year, I'm actually unsure if there is anything else huge coming this spring/summer.

I'm going pretty well, I feel.

It helps that of all the games I've purchased this year, the only physical one I have left is Zelda. I've also sold my Series X so I'm technically in credit for the year but I can't be arsed to work it out.

A couple of old CODS for Xbox was all I ended up spending in August. September is looking optimistic also

                        October 2023

                        £470

Massively the most expensive month this year all thanks to the Quest 3's launch so a big hit on my 2023 spending but still very restrained in a way with just two months left to go till the final verdict.

                          November 2023

                          Just one purchase - £17.00

December currently looks clear. I've already failed to score my lowest expense year though there's some good in the spend and I'm going to be in the right ballpark which is amazing following the past three years expense.

So far this year from what I can remember:

                            PS5 Digital £390
                            5 Arcade cabs £4500
                            SF6 £60
                            MVS 1 Slot £65
Art of Fighting 2 MVS £25
                            KoF96 & Fatal Fury 3 MVS £65
£350 or so on various PS3/PS4 arcade sticks
                            Mon-Yu PS5 £40
Undernauts Labyrinth of Yomi PS5 £25
Various PSN downloads equating to around £30 or so
Various PS3 imports £15 or so

Some of that offset by selling various unwanted extras that came with my cabs.

                              December 2023

Blowout meant another £210 spent buying Resi 8, Synapse, Horizon Call of the Mountain, Switchback, PSVR and PSVR2

                              That puts my:

                              2023 Total = £881

A huge improvement on the previous year and cheaper than 2020, 2021 and 2022. Since I began tracking in 2010 only three years have come in lower. With next year being so quiet for new hardware of worth and any new Switch more likely to be for Junior 1 I'm going in aiming for another year of spending less.

All of the data is missing from the pre-move posts so I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was roughly £1400 thanks to a new PC purchase and relatively few new game purchases (Zelda and Baldur's Gate III I think).
