I'm expecting they'll just tailor the UI to look closer to Xbox's with a greate focus on pushing Game Pass in the front end. Otherwise it'll be the same as the existing Ally's

Natively like regular Allys (Allies?). But with streaming as an option for games that won't run locally, I guess.

Seems like a pointless product to be honest. They're stealing their own thunder for their eventual true Xbox handheld.

I'm trying to understand MS' new mission. I misunderstood. I thought their handheld would be a device to play Xbox console games, which I assumed would be streamed and not native (unless they can?!). But what they are doing is running xbox GP PC version? I am all the confuse.

They're working on a full on dedicated Xbox handheld to tie in with the next-gen Xbox but first taking the pre-emptive steps to annihilate its marketing impact by selling a reskinned Rog Ally for the dozens of people still interested in buying the Xbox Series consoles... and pitting it against Switch 2.
