Momentum on rumours seem to be building ahead of a supposed August reveal and Xmas launch. So far no word of a PC launch again or if it's akin to GTA Trilogy or something built using the assets in RDR2

Didn't Rockstar lose the original documentation on how they made RDR, hence why it has never got a PC port?

If so, wouldn't this be the ideal opportunity to finally get RDR onto PC?

Yep, making it out of RDR2 seems like it would almost be easier if the speculation about the original version are true. The only thing I'd be mindful of is if it plays more like RDR2 than RDR1 as well, I want simpler and snappier controls

The entire game world is already there in RDR2 so should be easy money for them.

Didnt they shut down a mod for RDR1 addon for RDR2.

I don't own a compatible console for the original so this will be a must buy if it hits PC.
