    Far Cry 7

Supposed leak for the next Far Cry sequel:

Sounds... like another Facr Cry. A very tired series.

I do hope I have to kill animals to make larger ammo satchels and climb towers to unlock areas. That never gets old...

I really liked 3, my first and only so far Far Cry game, I just never see the need to get any of the later ones, though I am tempted at stages when they're on sale for like 10 bucks, then I think about my already massive backlog and see sense!

A report on how badly managed Ubisoft has become covering the staff firing, poor morale and the scale of project mismanagement. The company is set to lose millions on Skull and Bones, appears to have seen major underperformance for Avatar, the complete commercial failure of the new Prince of Persia, burned money on developing 12 unreleased battle royale projects, has three extraction shooters on the way and is facing the issue that when they make something halfway decent they've ruined consumer confidence too much.

This game is on the way alongside a near certainly ill-fated multiplayer spin-off and more AC games etc.

Its a shame as I hear Avatar is actually a solid title (and is basically Far Cry 7 in many regards given the broader re-use of mechanics)... plus Prince of Persia looks excellent. If neither reach the required commercial success and Skull and Bones is a write off then they are in some real trouble.
