whatever happened to 'Rebirth'?

That character's the gayest thing I've seen since the characters in Chou Aniki!

The character reminds me of Little Otik. I cant remember ever seeing anything about this tech demo/game before though.

Yeah its little Otik reborn to be slightly less messed up. I remeber seeing the demo, an NGC DVD maybe? ANyway it looked very nice graphocally but there wasn't any indication what typ of game it was...I think.

This was a lovely piece of footage I thought. Had a certain charm to it?

Not all of the footage was pre-rendered apparently, there were a few scenes where it took place in real-time. Well, I seem to remember it being discussed that It was anyhow?

Definitely a character design with potential imo (not the model version of him as seen above, heh, but the fragile, yet curious character portrayed in the video).

Out of interest Mr Papercut, what made you think of this again? It was just the other day that i thought about it too for some reason. I think i was watching a garden programme (not watching as such, was playing me GBA and it just happened to be on, nice and peaceful ) and it reminded me of Rebirth. heh.

I'd forgotten about Rebirth. It looked fantastic at the time, FMV or otherwise... that art direction deserves a game made to go with it, I reckon

Forget the ****ty model up there... It looked like a darker, more sinister Pikmin, with more than a hint of Abe's Odessy. And some spiritual ICO-ness going on too. Bah, I want it.
