Another good snow level is episode 5 in Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Hey yeah, been snowing all day here too. You lot have mentioned the obvious fav's but another for me is Unreal Tournament, don't know the level but its set inside, yet you can look outside and see it snowing through the windows. I thought it was cool.

MGS has a good feeling for snow & as for Metroid Prime - did the same thing, just looked around for a few minutes in wonder. Sonic CD had a cool one, you ended up smashing through ice and caverns. Yeah.

I preferred Icecap in Sonic 3 myself. First Sonic game with a snowboard, and nice and frosty.

Seeing the snow for the first time in Animal Crossing was quality.

The little lights in the trees... the glow from windows... the falling flakes. It's like they've plucked *the* archtypal 'festive' scene straight from the landscapes of Miyamoto's mind

Also, few can beat Yoshi's Island's snowy levels for festiveness. Especially the one with a cute skiing bit. Especially that.

Phendora Drifts I think it's called in Metroid Prime.

I stood there for 15 minutes, just looking around at the snow falling on the level.

Snow always brings a special atmosphere in the game.
