    homebrew GameCube memory card tool

    The tool is called GCS v1.0a, and it allows you to upload and download GameCube game saves and memory card images to your PC using the bba. Its been around for a while, but I've only just tried it out and its really cool.

    I've been able to backup my memory cards and a few individual game saves, as well as upload some game saves from gamefaqs

    Its based on the free homebrew GCN library that has a mermory card API:

    You need a bba, a copy of PSO, and the PSOLoad tool. GCS is client server software, you upload the server to your GameCube and run the client tool on your PC.

    GCS uses the same game save file format as the USB memory card. Heres some nice info on the GCN memory card game save format:
