Overrated Games

Getting all philosophical for the early afternoon - I'm thinking more of titles that don't usually crop up in these generic polls, but interpret how you want

For me, Bangai-O (DC version) - I found it to have no lasting appeal for me whatsoever; and I really wanted to like it, being a Treasure game & all - it seemed charmless with not much in the way of endearing features pulling me back. I've been told that the N64 version differs, but haven't tried it.

Out of all of the games Ive bought in the last 3 years one stands head and shoulders above in others for me in terms of being hugely overrated and its Halo.

FFVII.

Yeah, it's a nice game an' all, but play sometihing like Panzer Dragoon Saga and it all becomes apparent.

If FFVII was a pop star, it'd be Eminem; charged with doing something new and great that others have done before (and better).

Agree with you there as well. It is a very good game but not nearly as good as many make out.
