That was unbelievebly poor. It's like a first-year secondary school essay someone knocked up on bus in the morning...

The horrible thing is that people looking to buy a console and not reading any gaming literature might take that article for granted.

I'm off to rest my face after all that cringing.

I remember an article I spotted in my girlfriend's More magazine a while back. It was about which games console to own if you're only gonna get one. It stated that the GBA was the one to have. I didn't think that was too bad a choice, varied choice of games, some bona fide classics etc. When I read on, their argument as to why it was such a must have console was because the likes of Geri Halliwell, Liz Hurley and many other celebs had been spotted with one.

I personally went out and bought one of each colour to match all of my outfits. I didn't, afterall, want it to clash with anything i was wearing.

I don't think there's anything about middle-aged women that needs to be penetrated.

JRM- it was a little joke- nothing offensive was meant by it.

And are you telling me that some middle aged women aren`t attractive?

Yes, thanks to Bella we now know that the PSOne has more than 100 games available to buy.

In other news, the North Sea has been found to be slightly damp.

Also, I love the fact that one of the PS2's plus points is the fact that you can get a Dual Shock controller that allows for "realistic vibration". As supposed to the one available for the PSOne, for instance. Or the controllers on the Cube and Box.

Still, the XBox is really easy to connect to the TV, which makes it a good buy - the Cube, on the other hand, was so simple her kid could do it.

I love the way they get right to the heart of the differences between the consoles. Which apparently amounts at the end of the day to the PS2 having by far the best graphics, with the Box, Cube and One having a similiar standard of poorer ones.

Can somebody tell me what this great 4 player Rally game on the Cube is?

The 3 consoles should have been given a vibration rating.

Wowee! Gotta love ignorant people claiming they know what they're talking about. That bugs the hell outta me.

Keh, I hate it when someone gets there first :P

It's actually a very misleading article - they say the GC's strength is in 4 player games, when the Xbox has 4 ports as standard also - they say the PS2 produces the most relaistic looking graphics, when it's the technical inferior of both other systems, and they also fail to point out that none of the systems is any more or less difficult to connect to the TV than the other.

The middle aged ladies who buy Bella are drawing false conclusions and assumtions from that article, possibly leading them to surprise their kids with the wrong system - fortunately for the nations youth, owning any of the consoles is worthwhile, but that's clearly not the point.

Bad Bella! Naughty Bella! On your rug!

Also, if I have interpreted the atricle correctly, the GC has less 'precise' graphics than the PSOne.

                        Interesting summation...

Ady yep, GC doesn't have as good graphics as PSOne!

Fantastically well written article, it's thanks to stuff like that where I work have to explain to people that it's not their fault the PS2 version of multiformat games doesn't look the best.

Basically, someone with no knowledge of any consoles could buy any console and any game and initially enjoy it equally to any other available combination, cos they haven't yet got any point of reference.

Except real life. Hence the Western trend towards realism.

I also think that they way they say the GC is best suited for kids is highly misleading too - everyone knows kids want GTA and Fifa. I expect alot of kids would find games like Mario and Zelda just a little bit too taxing also, meaning they'd probably not get the most out of the system (lets face it, they're not easy games for newcomers).

"Models graphics in realtime, so there's a greater choice than usual of angles from which to watch objects on the screen"
I have been admiring the objects on screen at different angles since the day I got my XBOX if only the PS2 could display objects at unusual angles.
