Well Solid Snake IS based on a Kurt Russell character - Snake Plisken. But everyone knows that.

I think it should be a CG movie like Final Fantasy. Same voice actors as the game, directed by Kojima.

What does David Hayter look like in real life, anyway? I'd also give him a script draft, given the quality of his X-Men scripts.

Actually, I'd quite like Russell for Ocelot, just to play along with the whole Plissken thing.

Mei Ling would have to be played by Zhang Ziyi (-sp) from 'Crouching Tiger...'. That woman was stunning.

They'd probably get Lucy Liu with her funny eye instead, though.

Russel Crowe would play a good Solid Snake. He looks kind of like him.

You'd have to get Samuel L jackson in there somewhere...

How old is the character of Snake meant to be anyway? He's no spring chicken thats for sure.

If Big Boss or Solidus (not for MGS though obviously ) needed casting then Kurt Russell would have to be down for those roles.

Darwock, I was thinking exactly the same thing, that Ocelot could have been played by Richard Harris. Even though Ocelot is meant to be Russian he has never sounded particularly Russian in the games. He has got quite a "gruff" voice though.

Hayters a good actor, and Guyver I thought kicked ass.
Then again mm favourite film of all time would be "Big trouble in little China"

Hayter does snakes voice anyway, so really he'd have to play the role.

Kojima based all the games characters originally on film actors.
Go play Metal gear 2: Solid Snake to see who he chose.

Big boss was made to look like Sion Connery, and campbell as the colonel from rambo. Pietrovich Modnar looked like enstein etc.
if you have no idea what Im rambling about, go play the game, its actually quite good.

Metal Gear Solid is a different animal though, after all Snake, Solidus and Liquid are all clones of Big Boss so they would all look like Sean Connery!
