        Hmm.. lies and statistics.

        I've got 7 out of that top 10 GC list, yet only 2 from the PS2 list despite owning my PS2 longer. The PS2 has a wider range of games though, more "above average" ones that are fun but leave you feeling a bit empty. IMO of course. Plus the PAL conversions are mostly dire (I got a PAL PS2 as a pressie, so mustn't grumble)

        I've got 6 of the DC top 10 as well, but there are many classics that should be in there instead of all the american sports games. Reviews, eh? Load of old rubbish

          Actually, it doesnt. Statistically the PS2 has the higher average scoring top 10 game:

          GC - 91.05%

          XB - 88.54%

          PS2 - 92.96%

          DC - 91.6%

          But what you can really gather from these stats I dont know;

          The DC isnt a "live" format as such anymore and the PS2 has loads more games than GC/XB giving it, in theory, a higher likelyhood of more high scoring games.

            Plus, conversely, a higher likelihood of lower scoring games to even things out.

              It also had a big headstart of lower scoring games meaning it's made one hell of a comeback

                not really c' as this list only focusses on the top 10. your point is valid if we took an average from every game ever but as its based on the top ten best scoring games, there could be 10,000 games scoring less than 10% and it wouldnt matter......go figure!

                  Overall the N64 comes top though. Think it works out at 93.1%

                  It is an almost meaningless comparison though as there's a lack of consistancy between the scores on different platforms. THPS4 gets a much higher score on the PS2 than on either of the other two platforms. I know that the controller may well be a factor in this but other multi-platform titles are the same. PS2 games consistantly get marked higher than their GC and X-Box equivalents. Easier to please?
