Goblin Direct - Poor Service

    I had trouble with my first ever order with goblin but gave them benefit of the doubt. Then the next few games were quite delayed but I assumed that was importing (first timer). Now I know better. I also used to defend them as I can imagine its tough setting up a business but I think its rude to pass the buck, ignore communicatons and taking payments without providing a full service so screw em. They need to sort themselves out but will probably fold judging by their pre order listings on their website.

      Considering I've waited much longer than that from many other places online, then yes

      Even PlayAsia aren't any quicker than that, and I consider them to have to have the best overall customer service out there for internet ordering.

      Not defending Goblin, because they have been slow recently, but I guess it doesn't apply to everyone. One email of those two was replied to within the hour btw.

        Update: Last monday I sent an order cancellation email and they've done nothing. The trouble is I don't want to order another copy elsewhere until I know my Goblin order has been cancelled.

        Taking ages to get an order sent out is one thing but not answering phonecalls and email, not letting people cancel their orders is completely unacceptable. They also can't run a membership scheme that autorenews if they don't allow people to cancel membership.

        Who can I get in contact with to deal with Goblin Direct more forcefully? I just want to cancel my order and membership with them now and forget they ever existed.

          just use somewhere proper like tronix or playasia. goblin were great when they first started out but i wouldn't use them now for anything

            Zero Beat i would phone trading standards or summit like that. Or if you used a credit card do a chargeback because you havent received the goods. That'll definitely shock em into doing something.

            3 months since i left and still no sign of my last wages or any email about em

              The only place to go for import gaming is Videogamesplus.ca super cheap with super fast delivery. Never had a single problem with them. You can buy a lot of the pre-release stuff of them through ebay, ther seller id is Fiocco, but it's cheaper to go direct to thier website. Also they occasionally throw in pre-order bonuses such as the free memory card with MGS:TTS.
