    Interesting super mario world toy.

Not sure if this is in the right forum but i thought some of you nintendo fans might like to see this.

Waay back in the 90's Epoch released a toy based on super mario world where the aim is to navigate your way through a motorised maze.

Over 10 years later i finally managed to get my hands on one. As far as i know there are no pics or even mention of this toy on the net. All i remember is that mean machines or C+VG ran a competition back in the 90's to win one.

(Thanks goto Yakumo for the pics)

Does anyone remember the issue that superplay did where they had other toys like this. I remember a mario kart one that used marbles as well.

Well the idea is you place the ball at the top and you have to get it through the maze to the goal.

There are blue buttons you press to make various parts of the maze move to get the ball through & thats pretty much it.

Not exactly super exciting by todays toy standards but it has a charm all of its own plus its rare as hell to get hold of, i still can't believe after all these years i finally have one.

        Cool.

I seem to remember i friend at school when i was younger having a similar thing based on Donkey Kong. Instead of having to guide the ball bearing to the bottom you had to get it to the top of a vertical maze.

Wasn't as nice as the Mario World one though.

It's Kongman except Super Mario Brothers!

This is interesting as Kongman was Screwball Scramble but Donkey Kong. So, it all comes full circle.
