Difference in Jet Ski Games.

Been playing Carve for the last few days. Just put Wave Race Blue Storm in. <cue Chandler>OH MY GOD!!!</cue Chandler>.

How big a difference is there?! Thought someone had just given me two wraps of base and 3000 Pro Plus!! Fast is not the word! 8TH for crying out loud! I never lose in Wave Race! Handling is soooo different, wave physics are soooo different. It's incredible how arcade-like Carve is now. Still enjoying it (it cost ?18.99 new) but man is there a difference.

PS: I'm not pissed you know. I always use the back-key this much.

Funnily enough I think we're all of the opinion that Blue Storm was far inferior to WR64. The worst thing for me was the music. Man I loved the music from the original. But I made the comparison with Blue Storm to keep the console generations together.

Blue Storm is one of my favourite games. I think the handling is spot on. And the graphics and atmosphere are acers.

Could do with another couple of locations though.

I agree that it was good but...

...it was another Luigi's Mansion in terms of time (not charm). A Beyond Good and Evil, Prince of Persia, Pikmin. It only took a few days to complete and then 'duff' ... no replayability. Shame because the first one had me going back to it for months and months.

The Wave Race update has been the one reason why I haven't purchased 1080 (GC). I just don't want to feel the same drop that Blue Storm gave.

Is it worth getting NTSC N64 wave race as I got a gamecube version already,
