Anyone found some references in films or songs? They could actually appear on screen, or they might actually say something about them.

Some guy has a Sega Saturn in Mallrats.

In 'Mathematics', Mos Def says something about kids who can't add but could "Rock you at PlayStation". Sor some such.

Urusei Yatsura's second album opens with the mantra-like chant of "Atari, Atari Atari etc..."

Cibo Matto's 'Sci Fi Wasabi' (from their second full length album for all you pop-pickers) has samples of Sonic collecting rings at the beginning, though they're quite faint.

'Where Boys Fear To Tread' by the Smashing Pumpkins samples the barrel explosion sound from Doom. It's credited in the inlay and everything.

A lot of People Under The Stairs tracks have references to games: one half of PUTS, Thes One, fixes arcade machines 8) They even used a NES in one of their sets.

One track (Suite for Creeper) is full of effects from Goldeneye.
A few other example lyrics:

In the track Guantanemera by Wyclef Jean he spits: "...Pac Woman better yet Space Invader, If your name was Chun-Li, we'd be playin Street Fighter"

And I spotted a N64 in the film Elephant.

In Enemy of The State Will Smith's kid has a PCEngine GT.

In one of Janet Jackson's music videos (I think it was 'All for you') a pile of Dreamcast games are played in the background. They include Space Channel 5, Samba de Amigo and Jet Set Radio.

In 90's educational drama Ghostwriter a pile of kids were stealing money to fund their addiction to some arcade game.
