My thoughts exactly, best console on the market today. I do buy games for my gamecube, but don't play 'm really.

    Advance wars 1 + 2
    Zelda
    Denki blocks
    FF tactics
    Mario and Luigi
    Pokemon
    and others..

Guess the only game I will play on my gamecube will be the upcoming mario rpg. I love paper mario, haven't finished it yet though.

Only a few games impressed me on the GBA initially (the usual bunch), but recently it has been in use almost non-stop. Why? GBA - GC link up. I just love everything about it, especially when playing games in the intended multiplayer.

Crystal Cronicals, PacMan Vs and Four Swords + - I thank you

I'd go as far to say that this is the best 'new thing' created this generation.

No, that would be the Gamecube, with the wavebird controller, and people shouting directions from the room the TV's in. It puts a whole new spin on Super Monkey Ball

          So no.
Yeah ok i will admit the GBA has some SNES clones, but surely the PS2 has PSX clones, The Xbox has PC clones and the Gamecube has urm Mario Party again

Nobody makes you buy the clones/ports and most of them do offer new things as well as a reduced price tag shortly after release.

A lot of the original content has not sold very well but the GBA does offer a lot of original content and what it does offer i would say is a much higher quality gameplay wise than a lot of the stuff found on the home consoles.

Agreed; It's like saying Halo is the only good game on Xbox. Lazy accusations from people who can't be bothered to look deeply in to the library.

That's possibly the best idea ever. You should post that in my "Games within Games" thread hidden somewhere

Tetris also works well for this.

I should really get a GBA :P ...thing is, apart from sitting at home I can't think where I'd play it, since I barely ever have to 'wait around' for meetings, buses or the tube.

About it being a SNES-port machine, I don't think I'd mind since the only games I played way back when I had a SNES was Mario World, Mario Kart, erm Mario Paint, and the Super Scope thingy. Oh and I had crappy Home Alone and some Wrestlemania game.

You can play it (GBA SP) in bed at night, obviously that's the only thing a real gamer does it bed.

One of the great things about the re-releases is that they give you a chance to play any games you missed out first time around, be it Contra, Bubble Bobble, Manic Miner, heck even Space Invaders if you want.

I never played Yoshi's Island due to the fact it came out very late in the SNES' life, but I got to experience one of the finest Nintendo games ever made thanks to the GBA.

From your list, it sounds like you've got some 16-bit gaming to catch up on
