I usually pre-order if there's a special edition of the game that might become harder to acquire later on. I did this recently with Hyper SF2 and Shiki 2 (DC) although it's turned out that both are still easy to find.

The last game I pre-ordered and was really excited about was WE7. Still haven't got around to buying WE7I though.

I haven't pre-ordered from a high-street shop for a long time. I think the last time I did was regrettably for South Park on N64. I got a free Cartman bobble-hat for my troubles

I think the last time i pre-ordered a game was Mario Kart on the SNES.

I have however pre-order Killer7.

i usually pre-order just a few days before release now.
the last thing i was hugely excited to get and couldnt wait a second to get my mitts on was initial D.
recently, the only thing that i was really hyped about was true fantasy live, but thats been delayed so much that i'm trying to forget about it for a while. infact i wouldnt be at all surprised if it was put back to xbox 2 at this stage.

I pre-order quite often, however the latest game on my list, PIkmin 2, is by far the game I'm the most excited about. Recently I've had harvest Moon, Pokemon Colosseum and R:Racing down for order.

Before that it was Mario Kart that made me count the days to release and then Play Asia had a pleasant surprise with the early shipment of it. They've gone and done the same thing with Pikmin 2

i think the last thing i preordered was GC ikaruga, which i was frantically excited about for like a month before launch, and which has totally gotten me back into shooters... i remember plodding into town really early to pick it up from game the minute they opened, then dashing home, denying my housemates their daily trisha and getting in a good few hours before work...

i always get really indecisive about spending money on things i don't really need, deliberate for ages before i buy stuff and then worry that i won't have enough money for bills and food and junk... which i always do. i should really preorder more things - the decision's kinda taken out of my hands, so the money just gets debited and a lovely new game arrives on my doorstep... everyone wins but my bank manager . i'd definitely, definitely have preordered pikmin 2 if i hadn't sold my cube in anticipation of my girlfriend bringing hers when she moves in... it's only like two or three weeks, but i'm all frustrated and nintendo-less...

Well I like the Song which plays while you browse the site, and I think its a good Computer game site compared to others I have viewed.

Also it has lots of info and DLs of mp3s and the like.
