    First Person Samurai game from...

    ...Nintendo?

    They think so - http://www.nintendojo.com/infocus/vi...php?1084252605

Anyone confirm the japanese text on the sides of the banner?

EDIT: Another site is reporting it as a samurai pinball game?!

I can't think of two game genres that are more unlike one another

Maybe its a first person pinball game where you see things through the viewpoint of the pinball

Now that I'd like to see ( except not with my current Labrinthitus )

That banner is at E3. It shows Samurai swords and Nintendo logo in Japanese. When the game is announced this topic can be used to discuss it.

Oh yeh definitely, all of these sites are looking to outscoop each other sniffing around the Nintendo booth. Planetgamecube's pic of a wooden crate with "Stage Debut" written on in pen is the best one.

Could this banner not be premoting the Gamecube version of 4 Swords?

There are only 2 swords and as far as I know four swords doesn't have samurai swords.

I guess, i was trying to look at the graphics in the background and it looked like they were traditional Zelda style.

Looks like sprites to me in the background.
                      I smell a handheld.
(though high res samurai sprites from Nintendo on a console would be painfully exciting )

                      EDIT:
call me nuts, but it reminds me of dragon force on the saturn actually, looks like loads of little guys in a big battle
