    Oooh, PSP

Just watching the Sony conference and he's just brought out a PSP. Looks just like the concept image that was released recently. Only Black.

    4.4 inch screen, 16:9 display.

    32mb main memory.

Couldn't tell what all the games were but I defo seen Wipout, Ridge Race and spiderman.

Wow, graphics from the EA titles (Tiger Woods, Nfs Underground, NFL Street) looked amazing. From what I could see they were just PS2 graphics.

I hated that concept! Keep us up to date, I am reading a text commentary so can't see pics yet.

Here's some pics that I shamelessly nicked from the rllmuk thread (so shoot me):

Pretty similar to the prototype then. But the first pic does look like it's, for want of a better word, broken. Just been dragged from somebodies pocket, like 'oh yeh here's that psp I've not been looking after'.

      Anyway speculate away...

If you changed the PS stylee buttons and stuck N Gage 3 on it you would believe it.

Anyway - I'm waiting for the games.

"They keep on stressing the "advent of wireless gaming"... PSP to PSP, PSP to PS2, and PSP to PC"

I knew it! They want to take the connectivity of Nintendo and make out it's new and that it's now "cool"! Bejesus!

That is probably the most tackiest, crap looking piece of ****e i've ever seen.

The 4 EA games were shown running off of PSP hardware. The other games were not. Fromt he list so far, Death Jr and maybe Ape Escape P are the only new games! Hopefully they will end the PSP segment with some of their own in house new titles.

The buttons hardly look raised, looks like it's wearing a PVC mack. Unplayable.

                        That D-pad looks pap.

Also, you wouldn't want to make the mistake of sitting down with it in your back pocket - it looks like it could easily snap in two! or at the very least do some serious damage to the screen.

They were actually showed running on PC hardware emulating the specs that Sony released early on to EA.
