    TV buying help.

So i finally decided that i want a new TV, and as i have all next week off work to sit in waiting for deliveries, i thought now would be a good time.

After reading the faq here, i realised i must have got lucky with that ntsc 3.58 thing last time i bought a new set(?). so i thought i'd make sure this time. After a few minutes in currys i realised nobody else in the world knows what it is, and dont seem especially interested in finding out/taking my cash.

so here i am asking if anybody has any suggestions on where or even better, what set to buy.

    ideally i want 32" widescreen / flatscreen.
after that i'm not picky...dont really want to spend more than ?600-700 though.
surely i can get something decent for that?

    thanks for any help.

You'll be using RGB on this new TV though yeah? So need to worry about ntsc 3.58, although I'm sure all those sets will do it.

You only need to worry about ntsc compatability if you are using composite or svideo dude.

also, if you are really keen on finding out if it does 3.58, then sometimes u can download manuals with full specs off the manufacturer websites. These will also hopefully tell you useful things like which of the scart plugs take rgb and which take svideo etc.

i've ordered the sony one now.
i do use composite every so often so i guess i'll just have to wait and find out...but obviously i should stop using that altogether anyway.
They couldnt give me a definate delivery date though, with any luck it'll be next week.
cant wait....thanks for the help though.
