Soul Calibur 2 GC - US Vs JPN

Good evening, hope all is well.

I was wondering if you guys could help me recall some information... I remember during the Japanese and American releases of Soul Calibur 2 there was much discussion concerning an "Improved" version for the later US release. There were a few threads highlighting these but I cant seem to find them sadly?

Anyhoo? ive had the Japanese version since its launch and have literally put hundreds of hours into it. Sadly however a few months back lost all my saves and since haven?t really gone back to it quite as intensely. I always did plan to someday purchase the English language version too, however never got round to it. Now though seems like the perfect time (videogameplus have it for ?18 so will snatch that up)

My question is were there any drastic differences between the American and Japanese versions and is it possible to alter those god awful English translations for each character? (please say you can put the Japanese voices back? )

Most notably what springs to mind is the inclusion of the three Weapons Master Mode characters (Berserker, Assassin and Lizardman) as playable in arcade mode, and making Weapons Master slightly easier and less repetitive and boring. Don't know about the Japanese voices, but I don't believe you can switch them back.

You can have Japanese voices in the US GC version.

Man, they're much better!
