I'd agree - I never used brake very much, all the same the pedals are pretty solid, breaking them needs a fair bit of force.

Is this a hypothetical?

No it's a 'fecking kids, thats the third set of pedals they have broken and it happens to be accelerate again so I can't use the other pedals to replace it, so i'll have to wire up two of the other pedals instead...' type question.
