PSX to Gamecube adapter enquiry

Can anyone recommend me a decent PSX to Gamecube adapter?

I heard certain PSX to Gamecube adapter are crap and that they don't retain the digital directions, only analogue.

I just got a PS2 Soul Caliber 2 joystick and I'm wanting to use it on Soul Caliber 2 and Ikaruga on the Gamecube.

P.S. Are the ones at Game any good or do they only do analogue only?

The ones in game are sweet, they support all the buttons. Used mine on Cube Capcom V SNK 2 and its perfect

Thanks for the PSX to GC adapter - I received it this morning!
I'll be giving you some positive feedback in the users forum.
Anyway, I'm sorry to report that it doesn't work with my PS2 Hori Soul Caliber 2 joystick.
Mega shame as I was well looking forward to playing it with it!
It seems to only work with normal pads but not the Hori or Namco joysticks...
Anyway, can you give me your address so I can send it back to you.

Nope, just the normal pad. I don't see why an arcade stick wouldn't work but judging by the previous post it doesn't, but I don't know for certain. I will experiment the next time I'm in work and let you know.

I was having a chat with unlighty about this very matter in IRC today. I am not sure what adaptor he was using but he said that he tried his PS2 SC2 stick and it didn't work.

I am interested in this so please reply any who has found the answer.

Looks like I'll be on the same boat as I ordered a joybox from G-Funk. Desperately need to find a brand of converter that works. There must be someone out there sitting at there desk playing SC2 on their cube with their PS2 Hori joysticks. :P

I'm desparately disappointed that it doesn't work with my PS2 SC2 joystick that I bought recently.
I've also heard that it's not compatible with the Namco arcade stick either...

Has anyone found a PSX to Gamecube joypad adapter as yet that is compatible with these joysticks?

The GAME adapters dont work with the stick either So i had to get the GC version of the stick as well
