Best version of Shikigami No Shiro II is?

As far as I'm aware it's available on Xbox, Cube, PS2 and the mighty Dreamcast.

Has anyone played more than one version and able to advise?

I haven't played the Xbox version but have played the other 3 and consequently bought the DC version (mainly as im a stickler for Naomi conversions being on the same hardware).

    A quick breakdown would go....

Gamecube version, First version released- Very good port has the option to completely remove the slowdown but has less extras than the other versions.

PS2 version, Second version released- Another good port that improves upon the Cube version in terms of play mode extras but Graphically its very evident as the worst of the bunch.

DC version, Third released- Has all of the extras of the PS2 version minus the ability to completely remove slowdown and alter game speed, Improves upon the Naomi original and slowdown is only really evident in 2 player, Graphically and sonically its the best option of the 3 versions.

Hori stick>DC stick, so I prefer the Cube version for actual gameplay. The VGA goodness of the DC version is nice though.

        Thanks guys.

The rundown from Kron was exactly what I was after. Top man.

DC version into my VGA adapter it is!

The DC version is also missing the 'Boss Battle' mode from the PS2 version (similar to MGS2 boss battle mode - where you beat them consecutively)

Other than that, the DC one lacks the portraits where the black borders are on the side of the screen - if you are playing on a horizontal screen setup.

The textures/ colours do look slightly richer on the DC version. As does the 2D sprites.

          Also regarding slowdown...
When defeating a boss, usually there is intentional slowdown. Though on the DC version, it's kinda hit and miss - you get it or you don't. Though the Cube version will always do it. No biggie.
