Very Stuck in Metroid Zero Mission :(

I'm playing this game. I stuck it on easy which is a mistake becuase I haven't even lost one energy tank yet but I'll probably play it again on a harder difficulty if it remains this enjoyable.

I'm currently at Kraid, I'm on the bottom left of the map, there is a save room on the right and an artifact across a room and on the right. Unfortunately I can't get out of this room becuase the way I came in is on destructable when you're on top of it... and I fell from below the map room, so it's be a bit hard to bomb jump ALL the way back up even if i could. I can't get to the artifact becuase there is a block in the way and I cannot destroy it. It appears to be a Chozo Block, but all my weapons do nothing. I've got the Long Beam, Ice Beam, and Ball Bomb and 80 missiles... The only way I Can possibly see out of this area is blocked by another one of these blocks, but I can't destroy it. I can't figure out how to progress. Currently I'm stuck between 3 rooms with no way to get the Chozo item

See where you are on that map? The solution is in that room, there is a secret way into the artifact room where you get the ability to destroy the blocks. I need to get back here so if you're still stuck, I'll post the exact bit later.

Ah, I've got it. I cant believe I didn't notice the tunnel above the block.

I did figure out from the map that the acid couldn't have been there, however! I am proud of that
