Hyper SF2 60hz mode?

Has the pal version of said game got a 60hz option and is the movie in wide screen? Dubbed or Subbed?

You mean the new SF2 anniversary edition? Yes, it supports 60Hz mode. Can't say about the anime offhand, would have to check that again.

i doubt this'll help but the jap version had the original jap anime without subs, which makes sense considering...
if noone replies by monday then i'll persuade someone from watford cex to stick it on the machine and i'll have a gander. it'll be nice if it does, as i don't like the jap version much (hardly any music, especially quiet during chun li vs vega )

Yea I already have the JPN version myself, But for an extra 15 quid have thought about buying the pal version. Its just as cheap as getting the DVD but just wondered how it was presented first. I take it that the pal version does have a 60 hz mode then. Well thats one step closer then.

well if i were you i'd wait a few months for the US version as it'll have 3rd strike too - although i reckon the anime may get dropped to fit it on, but it's no big loss. i bought the anime sealed, pal, from ebay for ?6 all in, so i'd look there if i were you
as for 60hz, capcom seem to be adding 60hz options now (as of onimusha 2 i think) so you could be in for a treat.
i sold my jap version as no one i know plays sf so it's not much fun in 1-player - i'm just gonna wait for the xbox version as it will have 3rd strike and it'll be on xblive which is no bad thing

After being heavily criticised for the awful Devil May Cry PAL conversion, as far as I'm aware every Capcom PS2 game has come with an option for NTSC mode.
