Can I just ask a quick question to users of firefox...

I really like Opera alot but one of the main things I like about it is that I can put the address bar at the bottom just above the tool bar...

Is there an option to do this in Firefox?

Not that I can see. You can have different themes but I think these are just to change the appearance of the icons.

one of the ****ter things about firefox is, after you get used to tabbing (yes, it's good), you can't simply enter a new URL in the address bar and open that in a new tab. you have to open a new window and then enter the URL. bah.

Fusion: Actually, you can. There's an option you have to activate (in the Preferences, no need to go to about:config) that allows you to type an address in the URL bar, hit ctrl+Enter, and boom, it opens in a new tab.
            Quite useful it is.

"It's a browser that hasn't reached maturity yet, with some nice features, but also some problems in it that need to be ironed out. Not compatible with all sites, so you need IE still. So what's the error?"

If a site doesn't work in firefox its a badly design site by a one armed monkey with brain eating maggots forced to code it on a VIC20 while watching episodes of 'Scrubs' and 'Will and Grace' on a endless loop.
Seriously you have to be a complete ****ing idiot who doesn't deserve to sit near a computer if your site doesn't work in Firefox.
(Note I'm not really a Firefox fan because it has a **** interface, Camino is much better but the engine is sound and as a web designer I won't have a bad thing said against it)

Oh and for the record Firefox has better support than IE, seen as IE can't do CSS for potatoes. In fact IE is the WORST of the 3 main engines (IE/Mozilla/KHTML)

And if most folk jury rig their site to work in IE, neglecting all others, your point is?

                  "Calm down, calm down"</harry enfield>

For the record I use Firefox for many things. Not for MS websites as I seem to be able to get a massive increase in download speed when using IE.

Guess Dabs, Gamespot, GameFAQs (for a while) and a whole host of other sites are idiots then. I still need to use them. So IE it is.
