Right people, I am a total n00b when it comes to cabs so I need as much help as possible on this.
I have no pics of them but I will take a pic soon and post them up.
anyway, last night I went to a crappy youth club, to cut a long story short, I found tucked away at the very back of the pool room 2 very old Cabs.
Now they are really old and dusy, on one of the cabs, the 2nd player joystick is broken and im not sure if they actually work. The 2nd one is better, nicer buttons and the joysticks arn't fooked as the first one, the only thing is the 2nd one is even older, im talking 70s older, whereas the first one must have been late 80/early 90s.
So I asked the people who run the place if I can take one, and they said they will have to check it out with the owner. Now say If luckly I am allowed to take one, where the hell do I start?
I would like to rip out all the innards, replace the sticks and buttons with nice Sanwa ones, fit in a new monitor, if need be, and replace the board? With the Arcade version of SF2 Turbo, proper retro!!!
So I need as much advice as possible and if it all works out would anyone from here like to be my partner in crime and help me? (I live in the london area and should have it home in-time for the summer).
