The digital out on my US PS2 appears to have died, i have checked the cable and it works ok on my PAL PS2 this confirms my sound system is not the problem either. I have also checked the cable for any bends as I know this can mess up optical cables. The sound seems to kick in for second sometimes but then goes again the digital out is turned on in the settings. Any help?
