There is a sticky over at avforums.com called "Panasonic PD30 Faults/Problems plz post here." Currently at 299 replies. Numerous reported problems from shadows, dirty screens, geometry problems, etc, etc.

I don't think there are any perfect 36" CRT's tbh.

If you decide to go the 32" route then you should seriously consider a Loewe. I have the 32" Mimo and find it quite incredible. I have friends with more expensive Loewe models with some even nicer features but the jump in ??? is considerable.

The Mimo doesnt have Progressive Scan though does it?
