PAL Xbox HD mode

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and have a question thats probably been posted 100 times before before. I want to use my umoded PAL xbox in progressive scan mode, can i do this without modding it and still play my PAL games on it?

As i say i'm sure someone has already covered this so a link to that thread would be great.
