Which GBA Games do I Take on Holiday? Best GBA Games?

I'm going away for a month, I'm gonna take 2-3 games with me, so I want some long games...

I enjoy Tactical RPGs (like FFTA, where you have a character you level up, not so much Advance Wars where you are assigned units). So, I was thinking about taking 2 RPGs and 1 game like Wario Ware for short term fun when I'm fed up with battling...

My current thoughts are:

Fire Emblem
Tactics Ogre
Wario Ware

I've never played any of them, so is Fire Emblem a good choice, equally, have I missed any out, any other suggestions?

I have already played Golden Sun, Chu Chu, Pokemon, FFTA, Kuru Kuru Kuruin and the Mario series... If I remember any ofthers I'll add them here

Err... Like I said, I'm not really a fan of the AW games... and I've already completed Pokemon

I'd take both Fire Enblem and Wario. But I'd leave Tactics Ogre at home and change it with a different style of game. Perhaps one of the Metroids. Or Mario Kart. Or F-Zero.

That way you'll have 3 games with completely different pace. Something for every mood

Is Fire Emblem like Advance Wars though. I've had a look at it, and it seemed like you had a set number of troops for each level instead of a party which you teach moves and level up and stuff. That's the kind of game I'm looking for.

I'm thinking, may take GP Legend though... it's a very good game

Seconded. Im with Neil on this one. Take Mario Golf, Mario and Luigi - Superstar Saga and Mario VS Donkey Kong

All the castlevania games, Zelda LTTP, Mario VS Donkey Kong.

Yeah I'd go with a Castlevania game (probably Aria of Sorrow is best) or Metroid Fusion, Fire Emblem and a decent action RPG (one of the Zeldas maybe I'd recommend the Oracle games) or Sword of Mana (which I loved although I do appear to be in the minority.

I got through Golden Sun & Metorid Fusion on my hols last year - GBA by the pool in the sun is lovely!

Fire Emblem is much better than advance wars, you know who you have to kill unlike Advance Wars' infuriating respawning of enemies. You level up and find items etc. and go on character sidequests. It's lovely.

I'd take Fire Emblem, Harvest Moon and Wario Ware/Mr Driller if I was you.

i'd say advanced wars i'm playing it on emulation because i haven't got a gba but that game is now convincing me to purchase one. Oh and i'm enjoying golden sun too.

Advance Wars - Re-spawning? The enemy don't re-spawn units, it builds them with the type depending on how much enemy it has and what it needs (last bit is a bit hit and miss).

I'd certainly recommend Advance Wars(1/2), it kept me sane a couple of summers ago when I was laid up with the ****s.

I'd also recommend ZOE:Fist of Mars and Yoshis Island. I would _not_ recommend Golden Sun or any other RPG (except M+L:SS) because you don't want that **** on holiday and it gives me a headache.
