WaveBird Platinum VS Regular

I am looking at buying 3 WaveBird controllers. I have a Panasonic GameCube and thought about getting the Platinum WaveBirds. However I was wondering if the Plat ones peal and rub at all? Or is the actual colour of the plastic silver?

I've had a platinum for a while now, well used too, and I haven't had any peal or rub that you've mentioned.

Seconded taurus. Iv got a platinum and a normal grey wavebird and the platinum suits the Q a lot nicer and no peel here either.

Get 3 different colours if you can. It's all too easy to mix em up.

Yeah, there's only 2 colours. I got mine from VG+ for about 21 quids delivered , which was cool.
