Got a cheap 128mb own brand ebuyer one ages ago and at the weekend my Mrs washed a shirt not realising it was in the pocket, spend ages looking for it last night and it was still sitting in the bottom of the washing machine. So got it out, gave it a quick wipe over, plugged it in and it's fine

Who's said ebuyer's quality is sh*t ?

I think most memory sticks are pretty hardwaring, I saw that MicroMart test where they smashed test sticks with Golf clubs, Boiled them etc. Thats the good thing about Solid State rather than stuff with moving parts.
