Indy Car Series 2005

Anyone imported this ? came out in States few days ago and is out here tomorrow, see the PS2 release is a Europe exclusive which is strange for a US Racing series, guess M$ signed a exclusivity deal with the publishers to make it a Xbox only release over the water.

I watched a couple of video's on ign and it seems fairly bland, small cars on a big track .... not many reviews about, but it seems a 7 or 8 out of 10 game, guess there will be loads of settings to tinker with, should be great on Live though.

So anyone got it ? otherwise I'll get it from GAME tomorrow in case it's cr*p

The review in the Official Xbox Magazine gave it an 8 I think. The last release scored higher I think.

Not sure if I'll have it for Friday, but I'll have it very soon.

It should do quite well in the states it is being released for just $19.99 which is a quality price (and has been getting good reviews). ?29.99 rrp here to which ain't bad either. BTW the game is not region free though, but the PAL version is better due to the better resolution.

The OXM review read well, and IGN also gave it 8/10.

The original game is very good on the xbox.
Is on live when it comes out here?

Yep 12 player + 8 AI = 20 cars on track whilst online

Plus full rankings and high score tables as well.

Also available for the PS2 online aswell, but that is only 8 player (hint; get the Xbox version).

Madness!
The great thing about this game is the way you build your speed
lap after lap.
Constant quick lapping raises your overall speed which enables you
to race faster and harder.This coupled with drafting makes for the most intense competition.
However the thought of 12 human racers,100ths of a second away from
each other puts the proverbial '****s' up me
