Has anyone played this yet?

It looks very interesting with a new slant on the RTS of late..

I should be picking it up either today or tommorw, but i just wondered if any of you guys had an intrest in it..

Before you do - try the demo. I got it and I wish I'd tried the demo. Its very different style of RTS and it needs a mega machine to run it. I've given up with it.

Yep, monsterous system requirements a-hoy. I read in some PC gaming magazine that it gave their super-expensive Alienware bastard a run for it's money... so I didn't geel too bad about taking it back when I did.

I even turned up all the graphics before I did to see what all the fuss was about, and I couldn't see anything special, but that may have been marred by the fact I was effectively watching a slideshow.

If you've got the right kit it looks great! I think its the deformable terrain that does it. That'd be my guess anyway....

I've got a feeling that I was scuppered anyway with the game because my machine doesn't handle bumpmapping too well... and the Chaos Particles (which I'm assuming is the deformation stuff) is pretty processor intensive as well.

If you're into RTSs, perhaps we should round up some people for a game of Ground Control 2...

yeah man , im up for a bit of MP... im just getting my head around both perimiter and ground control 2....
