Getting Live in a few weeks and its ?10 on amazon, worth a purchase?

If you enjoy the kind of game it is, I say it's worth. I bought mine a few weeks ago in a promotion.

Not sure how many people are still playing it on live, I've been thinking of going back to it myself. Not a bad game by any means but inferior to UT2k3 and UT2k4 on the PC, which, if you have a PC that can handle them, is what I'd splash out on.

I already have UT2003 on PC but I thought Xbox Live would be an easier way to set up/join games, because I always seem to get one problem or another when trying to play the PC version online, although that might just be because my internet is slow. Monday should change that when bb gets installed.

I will give the PC game a whirl on Monday with broadband and see if that makes it better. If not I will purchase the XBox game

Its not too bad. I went on a few months back and there seems to be a few people still on. Helpfull if you know some other people on it too. Theres a patch youl need to download before you play online with it which sorts out the dodgy framerate. It really sorts it out too and made the game much more enjoyable, theres some nasty tearing as a result mind.
As is said above though PC UT is much more preferable.
