Puyo Pop Fever v Mean Bean Machhheeene

Is there any difference between Puyo Pop Fever and Mean Bean Machine gameplay wise?

Ya see, Puyo Pop has been tempting me, but I have Mean Bean on the Sonic collection, so am thinking it could be a waste of money.

Just get the Dreamcast version (english is available too).

Cheers, but I need more info than that. How much greater does it improve over Mean Bean, and is the Gamecube version really poor? (current lack of a DC).

Basically, I'm an elitist arsehole when it comes to Puyo Puyo Fever, so I much prefer the Dreamcast version over the gamecube/xbox/PS2 versions. Mainly because it is a proper arcade port, not a Renderware sham..

Then again, I doubt you'll notice or care. The Fever mode adds so much to "classic" Puyo, and infinite offsetting is just brilliant. ?20 for the PAL cube version, you can't go wrong. Go and pick it up. Now.
