Well,

Firstly: Hi again everyone. It has been sometime since I have posted on the forums, but I was lurking around over the last few weeks after exams and decided to come back. I found that games didn't ignite that spark in me that they used to do and I kind of left the hobby a while back. However, I have realised I have lost it because I left the importing scene to focus on my degree. However, even with the PAL consoles that I have kept, I am finding gaming pretty boring and rekon I need to get back into importing and playing some of the more entertaining titles that either don't come out here or come out after ages. Well hope to talk "gaming related" talk with you lot, as soon as I get my import consoles back.
Secondly: I need one of those Ceramic White PS2's Can anyone tell me if they are chippable yet and if so, can I order one from either play-asia or yes-asia without customs charges?

play-asia have the Cermaic white GT4 prologue packs back in and I am not too sure about which of there few postage methods is best. I have never ordered from them so sorry for the questions Also, anyone ordered a console and know how much customs usually get slapped on?

AFAIK PlayAsia shipments aren't customs freindly, pretty much a luck of the draw situation but I would imagine that a nice big PS2 would attract the attention of those ****ers at Mount Pleasant

I bought a PS2 from PA a couple of months ago and had it shipped using TNT (only took 2 days). I ended up paying about ?40 in total in customs charges about ?10 of which was TNT's "adminstration fee".

They originally asked for about ?65 until I pointed out to them that they hadn't converted the USD into GBP correctly
