Any differences between different versions of Initial D? (ps2)

Howdy there.. seems the only time I post it tends to be asking for something.. should really change that but anywhos!

I have finally got round to deciding to get a copy of Initial D for the PS2.. only since I last looked last year I can only find a 'best' or something edition of it - just wondering if there was any differences with this one compared to the ones originally released - I dont think there would be, but someone told me to get the Asian version instead of the Jap one mentioning something about slightly better graphics.. I don't know if theres any truth in this but if anyone could clear this up so I know whether or not to hang around n wait to see if I can hold of an original Asian version or get the 'Best' thingie version? Any help would be greatfully recieved

There the same its just "the best" is a re-release (slightly different box art)
The only thing different in the Asian version is a english leaflet and the language on the back of the box.

Yep. The "Best" edition is just the same game re-released at a cheaper price with different (inferior) artwork. Like a "Platinum" game you get here.
I don't have the two to compare, but I'd be very surprised if the actual content was any different in the Best version.

Asian games are just export versions of the Japanese (FOR JAPAN ONLY) version. The games themselves are identical, but Asian versions have slightly different back covers, and sometimes have additional instuctions sheets in English/Chinese included along with the JPN manual.
