For any of the shmup addicts here, has anyone honestly done this game on one credit? I swear the final boss is impossible. It just goes on forever and the bullet pattern is just raw. I can go all the way to the boss without losing one life after some practise but the boss is just sick.

Anyone got an RGB hacked version? I can verify I own the original by quoting bits of the instructions.

Only time I can 1cc this game is if I play 2 player with someone I can co-ordinate with and "tag team" the shields through the stupidest sections of the final boss >_<

I wonder if gigawing 2 is as hard as the first. I personally think this game is pretty under-rated i love the music. Its just impossible especially when you take away the shell of the final boss and then it evolves into that weird box and it just wizz's around the screen.

Bruv you absolutely cannot gauge how good a shoot em up is from what you hear online - the people that collect games rather than play them hate on games for no reason (or that they arent made by Treasure). All shoot em ups are underrated unless Cave or Treasure is written on the box.

Gigawing 1 and 2 are absolute class! I found Giga 2 harder, but then I was playing 1 daily but not so much 2 (not due to not liking it as much)

I had to steal ?1.55 out of my grandads wallet to buy a tuna + sweetcorn sandwich this morning, the last thing on my mind right now is buying games. Even if they only cost ?2 from Smack Generator.

The PAL version has a 60hz mode and is fully RGB as are the rest of the PAL releases.

yeah i was thinking you or saurian would have done it with 1 credit. I'd love to see how you did it though beat that final boss without losing like 5lives :P

Is it not impossible to comlete on one life? seem to have some vague memory of reading that somewhere, due to people being annoyed about it
