PAL (UK) console in Taiwan

I'd like to take my UK Gamecube to use in Taiwan, to
play either Jap or US games us using the Freeloader
disc. Do you foresee any problems with attempting this
if I want to play these games on an NTSC TV there. I
was under the impression that all GCs are the same,
just with the region lock-out set to the territory
they are bought in, so any NTSC games I want to play
should be OK on an NTSC TV.

Is this right?

There's still the issue of PAL and NTSC. Your PAL GC will be running the menu in the PAL resolution, and the TV over there won't like that.
