Korean PS2 games - Are they more or less exactly the same as Jap PS2 games?

I'm asking as I would like to buy Strikers 1945 Part 1 & 2 which is out 2-3 weeks before the Japanese version and the Korean version is also much cheaper...

Are Korean PS2 games generally the same as Jap PS2 games?

The main thing I'm concerned about is if the manual on in game menus are all in Korean... Or do they retain the original Japanese manual and in game Japanese text?

Or are Korean games generally are the same as Japanese games no matter what but for a Korean/English added 2nd manual?

    All replies much appreciated!

Are the Korean versions like the Asian releases that come with an english foldout manual?

Personally I tend to only buy Japanese versions due to them holding their value longer. On the other hand they are more expensive to buy in the first place.... Also I understand diddly squat Korean.

I don't have any, but going by the thumbnails of them on play-asia etc, the boxart is often different on a Korean version.
