    need help with american xbox...

ive recently moved to the uk, bringing my american xbox with me. it has a standard ntsc(i guess) composite connection; my television is a relatively older 50 hz pal tv with a regular scart connection, and a single video input plug on the front. besides the power transformer, what do i need to make my xbox play on this television? ive been told i can get a simple ntsc to pal adapter, but other ppl have told me that the adapter wont work with 50 hz tv's. any help would be appreciated!!

Can you not go and buy an RGB cable?

Places like Game, HMV, Virgin or similar will sell them, RGB colour encoding is separate from the PAL/NTSC standards.

Aye, you need an RGB cable (or the Advanced Scart lead if you go for the official version) and a stepdown of a recommended minimum of 150 watts.

Alternatively, if you have a decent monitor, get one of these beauties for lubbly VGA images :
