Word 2003 spellchecker not working

I've installed Word 2003 recently and on the machine there are no
proofing tools or automatic spellchecker. I went into the options to
enable them, but the box is greyed out.

Does anybody know whats gone wrong?

Put the office CD in and check that the spellchecker is an installed component. Try having a look in your start menu under office tools for references to spellchecker. I cant try this offhand as Im at work, just a few things to look at.

Yep that did the trick, the spellchecker was in an install option
under shared options seperate from Word install options, thanks for
the help marcus.
