Anyone got news on Nico?

Been playing Ico again. Anything concerete on the sequel?

Absolutley bugger all as far as I know.

A few shots were posted which are knocking about somewhere but I think they were just taken from a very brief trailer and a job ad for the developer but were from the Ico universe as it were.

All you get is rumours and supposition about a showing or new info that may or may not be about to be released. Friends of friends at Sony even say they know next to nothing about it.

I'm beginning to doubt this will ever be seen on the PS2, Sony are more likely to have it as a release game for PS3 now.

Not sure I agree with that tbh. Ico was hardly a multi million seller was it? A niche but utterly fantastic title for those who sought it out really.

So a ps3 launch title would hardly be the huge sytem seller that Sony would be looking for, more like a GT5 or suchlike.

I just hope they surprise us all and drop out of nowhere with a 'here's a look and it's out in a cpl of months statement'. If only...

They won't need Nico (or any other game for that matter) to sell the PS3, but they may want to use the PS3 to sell Nico.

If not, it would be a lovely swansong for the PS2.

Agreed about the swansong, that was more what I was thinking/hoping...
