using gamecube/ps2 d-terminal cables on monitor

been doing lotsa research, can anyone tell me any possible problem with using
a d-terminal cable(gamecube/ps2) with a decent lcd monitor with div digital inputs?

will normal interlaced images appear as normal with only a few ps2 games being progressive compatible?

    any info will be appreciated.

    thanks,

No. Unless you have a japanese monitor with a jpn dv connector.
Best bet is a modified dterm to vga cable if you want to do it this way.

    Interlaced images wont work.

I'd suggest you look for a multi function TFT that works as both a PC monitor and a TV. Some have component input and will support interlaced and progressive signals.
