Is a Jap Snes Jnr easily modded?

I'm thinking about picking one of these up, but it's only any use if I can get it to play US games.

I know the Famicom was able to play US games by breaking a couple of tabs inside the machine, however, is the Snes Jnr just as easy to do?

    Ta in advance

You are going to need a pass through adapter, unless you want to remove the top of the case and use it bare... or use a big saw to cut open a slot....

It was the other way around.

The US SNES could have a couple of little tabs removed to allow it to play Japanese games but to play US games on a Super Famicom you had to either use a bridge convertor or widen the cartridge slot on the Super Famicom (they look a right mess with this done )

AFAIK the SNES and SFC Jnr. are the exactly the same.

Or just unscrew the machine and take the top off. Watch out for dust though.
